عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه و سلم قَالَ:
'An rasūli-llāhi ṣalla-llāhu 'alayhi wa sallama qāl:
The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said:
"إنَّ اللَّهَ تَعَالَى فَرَضَ فَرَائِضَ فَلَا تُضَيِّعُوهَا،"
"Innallāha ta'ālā faraḍa farā'iḍa falā tuḍayyi'ūhā,"
"Allah the Almighty has laid down obligations, so do not neglect them;"
"وَحَدَّ حُدُودًا فَلَا تَعْتَدُوهَا،"
"wa ḥadda ḥudūdan falā ta'tadūhā,"
"and He has set limits, so do not overstep them;"
"وَحَرَّمَ أَشْيَاءَ فَلَا تَنْتَهِكُوهَا"
"wa ḥarrama ashyā'a falā tantahikūhā"
"and He has forbidden things, so do not violate them."
حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ، رَوَاهُ الدَّارَقُطْنِيّ وَغَيْرُهُ.
