'An Abi Hurayrata radiyallahu 'anhu, 'ani-n-Nabiyyi sallallahu 'alayhi wa sallam qala:
On the authority of Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him), from the Prophet (ﷺ), who said:
Qalallahu ta'ala:
Allah Almighty has said:
Kadhdhabani ibnu Adama wa lam yakun lahu dhalika, wa shatamani wa lam yakun lahu dhalika.
The son of Adam denied Me and he had no right to do so, and he reviled Me and he had no right to do so.
Fa amma takdhibuhu iyyaya faqawluhu: Lan yu'idani kama bada'ani,
As for his denying Me, it is his saying: He will not remake me as He made me at first —
wa laysa awwalu-l-khalqi bi-ahwana 'alayya min i'adatihi.
and the initial creation of him is no easier for Me than remaking him.
Wa amma shatmuhu iyyaya faqawluhu: Ittakhadhallahu waladan,
As for his reviling Me, it is his saying: Allah has taken to Himself a son —
wa ana-l-Ahadu-s-Samad, lam alid wa lam uwlad, wa lam yakun li kufuwan ahad.
while I am the One, the Everlasting Refuge. I begot not nor was I begotten, and there is none comparable to Me.
Rawahu-l-Bukhari (wa kadhalika-n-Nasa'i).
It was related by al-Bukhari (also by an-Nasa'i).
