عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ:
'An Abi Hurayrata radiyallahu 'anhu, anna Rasulullahi sallallahu 'alayhi wa sallam qala:
On the authority of Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him), who said that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said:
تُفْتَحُ أَبْوَابُ الْجَنَّةِ يَوْمَ الِاثْنَيْنِ، وَيَوْمَ الْخَمِيسِ،
Tuftahu abwabu-l-jannati yawma-l-ithnayn, wa yawma-l-khamis,
The gates of Paradise will be opened on Mondays and on Thursdays,
فَيُغْفَرُ لِكُلِّ عَبْدٍ لَا يُشْرِكُ بِاللَّهِ شَيْئًا،
fayughfaru likulli 'abdin la yushriku billahi shay'an,
and every servant who associates nothing with Allah will be forgiven,
إِلَّا رَجُلًا كَانَتْ بَيْنَهُ وَبَيْنَ أَخِيهِ شَحْنَاءُ.
illa rajulan kanat baynahu wa bayna akhihi shahna'.
except for the man who has a grudge against his brother.
فَيُقَالُ: أَنْظِرُوا هَذَيْنِ حَتَّى يَصْطَلِحَا، أَنْظِرُوا هَذَيْنِ حَتَّى يَصْطَلِحَا، أَنْظِرُوا هَذَيْنِ حَتَّى يَصْطَلِحَا.
Fayuqal: Anzhiru hadhayni hatta yastatliha, anzhiru hadhayni hatta yastatliha, anzhiru hadhayni hatta yastatliha.
[About them] it will be said: Delay these two until they are reconciled; delay these two until they are reconciled; delay these two until they are reconciled.
رَوَاهُ مُسْلِمٌ (وَكَذَلِكَ مَالِكٌ وَأَبُو دَاوُدَ).
Rawahu Muslimun (wa kadhalika Malikun wa Abu Dawud).
It was related by Muslim (also by Malik and Abu Dawud).
