عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ:
'An Abī Hurayrata raḍiya-llāhu 'anhu qāl:
On the authority of Abu Hurayrah (RA), who said:
قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه و سلم:
Qāla rasūlu-llāhi ṣalla-llāhu 'alayhi wa sallam:
The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said:
"كُلُّ سُلَامَى مِنْ النَّاسِ عَلَيْهِ صَدَقَةٌ،"
"Kullu sulāmā minan-nāsi 'alayhi ṣadaqah,"
"Every joint of a person must perform a charity,"
"كُلَّ يَوْمٍ تَطْلُعُ فِيهِ الشَّمْسُ"
"kulla yawmin taṭlu'u fīhish-shams"
"each day that the sun rises:"
"تَعْدِلُ بَيْنَ اثْنَيْنِ صَدَقَةٌ،"
"ta'dilu baynath-nayni ṣadaqah,"
"to judge justly between two people is a charity."
"وَتُعِينُ الرَّجُلَ فِي دَابَّتِهِ"
"wa tu'īnur-rajula fī dābbatihī"
"To help a man with his mount,"
"فَتَحْمِلُهُ عَلَيْهَا"
"fataḥmiluhū 'alayhā"
"lifting him onto it"
"أَوْ تَرْفَعُ لَهُ عَلَيْهَا مَتَاعَهُ صَدَقَةٌ،"
"aw tarfa'u lahū 'alayhā matā'ahu ṣadaqah,"
"or hoisting up his belongings is a charity."
"وَالْكَلِمَةُ الطَّيِّبَةُ صَدَقَةٌ،"
"wal-kalimatut-ṭayyibatu ṣadaqah,"
"And the good word is a charity."
"وَبِكُلِّ خُطْوَةٍ تَمْشِيهَا إلَى الصَّلَاةِ صَدَقَةٌ،"
"wa bikulli khuṭwatin tamshīhā ilas-ṣalāti ṣadaqah,"
"And every step you take towards the prayer is a charity,"
"وَتُمِيطُ الْأَذَى عَنْ الطَّرِيقِ صَدَقَةٌ".
"wa tumīṭul-adhā 'anit-ṭarīqi ṣadaqah."
"and removing a harmful object from the road is a charity."
رَوَاهُ الْبُخَارِيُّ وَمُسْلِمٌ.
