عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيّ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ:
'An Abī Sa'īdin-il-Khudriyyi raḍiya-llāhu 'anhu qāl:
On the authority of Abu Sa’id al-Khudri (RA) who said:
"سَمِعْت رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه و سلم يَقُولُ:"
"sami'tu rasūla-llāhi ṣalla-llāhu 'alayhi wa sallama yaqūl:"
"I heard the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) say:"
"مَنْ رَأَى مِنْكُمْ مُنْكَرًا فَلْيُغَيِّرْهُ بِيَدِهِ،"
"Man ra'ā minkum munkaran falyughayyirhu bi-yadih,"
"Whosoever of you sees an evil, let him change it with his hand;"
"فَإِنْ لَمْ يَسْتَطِعْ فَبِلِسَانِهِ،"
"fa'il-lam yastaṭi' fabil-isānih,"
"and if he is not able, then with his tongue;"
"فَإِنْ لَمْ يَسْتَطِعْ فَبِقَلْبِهِ،"
"fa'il-lam yastaṭi' fabiqalbih,"
"and if he is not able, then with his heart;"
"وَذَلِكَ أَضْعَفُ الْإِيمَانِ"
"wa dhālika aḍ'aful-īmān"
"and that is the weakest of faith."
رَوَاهُ مُسْلِمٌ.
